Visiting hours

HCA Florida South Shore Hospital welcomes visitors to see patients between 8:00am to 8:00pm. ICU visiting hours are 10:00am to 7:00pm and 8:00pm to 10:00pm.

Wi-Fi access

HCA Florida South Shore Hospital operates a wireless (Wi-Fi) network for our patients and guests. Using your Wi-Fi-enabled device, you can access many internet resources (email and websites) from just about anywhere in the hospital.

We're happy to provide this free and reliable service to our patients and visitors, and getting connected is easy.

Cafeteria hours

The cafeteria is located off of the main lobby. Meals may be purchased using cash or Visa/MasterCard.

  • Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 9:30am.
  • Lunch is served from 11:30am to 2:00pm.
  • Dinner is served from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
  • Sunday brunch is served every Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm and includes an entrée, one side, a fountain drink and complimentary coffee for only $5.

ATM

The ATM is located in the emergency department waiting room.

Chapel

The Chapel/Quiet Room is located off of the main lobby.

Parking

For your convenience, the hospital features two main parking lots. One is in the front of the hospital outside of the main entrance. The other is behind the hospital outside of the outpatient/emergency entrance.

Privacy password

At admission, every patient is given a confidential password. Patients are told to share it with people they want to receive their confidential patient health information. Nurses and staff can provide information about the patient's health ONLY to persons who know the password. This password is only for verbal communication regarding treatment or payment during this hospital stay. It will not be honored once the patient is discharged.
